I'm usually big on new tech, but i'm not hyped for Bluray or HD-DVD

I know, right? So should I buy a 720p, 1080i, or 1080p system? Should I buy an HD-DVD or Blu-Ray player? What HDTV service should I go with? What about OLED and all that other junk? I'm waiting. I have a 27" 4:3 CRT SDTV for regular cable and a projector that can handle HD for movie and game nights. I'm good for now

Dude, he just said he's happy with what he has, not that he can't see the difference. I can see there is an obvious improvement too, but it doesn't make me want to spend the money on HD-DVD or even just an HDTV. Because for me it's the content that I care about, as long as it looks reasonably good it's fine for me. I don't expect to own an HDTV for the next 3-5 years.
