Have I started a trend? I payed $169.99 Canadian for it and it is sitting on an angle right next to my open case and It keeps the temperature of my CPU to under 35 C at 2.125 volts and my mobo at 5 C. It works great for me and is alot cheaper than a good water cooling or prometia set-up. What do you think of my innovative idea?:)

Well, utilities are included with my apartment and I don't leave it on at night. It's surprisingly quiet and effective.:)

Souldn't be, water drips outside to a tube usually. 5000 BTU air conditioners are $99.96 IIRC at walmar this year.

No, I don't use it as a room cooler. It only powerful enough to cool a 160 square foot area which is smaller than my bathroom. I have central air conditioning for that. What's my sig got to do with anything? I am using a TT Volcano 7+ at 6000 rpms (see sig). It seems some of you are jealous or immature (or both). I had an idea and I tried it out and it works great. When I see someone trying to do something innovative to save money and/or time I congratulate them and learn from them. I paid $169.99 CANADIAN for the AC which is $121 U.S.

Why would anyone be jealous of a what you have? All you need is money
As for your sig, you forgot to list your PSU, IDE cables, and the kitchen sink.

What are you doing about the condensation? Is this thing just sitting on the floor? The idea is good but those small units are so inefficient it's nothing but a waste of electricity. Since you already have central air I would think the ducting method mentioned would be a a more cost friendly idea. You may just end up paying for utilities after the owner sees the increase in electricity usage.
