But Pizza Hut and Dominos are at the end of my street. It's just not worth the 5 mile drive when the other two places are so much closer. (I never get delivery because of the price markup. I can always get a large single topping pizza for $7.50 if I order it carryout)

Anyone eaten at a Cici's? I don't have one where I live but a nearby city that I go to occaisionally has a couple and was wondering if it was worth checking out. Cheap price, $3.95 for all you can eat I think.

In another thread, someone claimed that the problem of drivers claiming they didn't have change, just to get a large tip, was widespread. To the best of my knowledge, none of our employees has ever tried that.

However, I can't count the number of times we've told someone "35 or 40 minutes" yet arrive in less than 10 minutes. Then, we use some story to make them feel like we're giving them special treatment. The record is probably arriving with a fresh pizza in less than 3 minutes. (We do so much volume in cheese and pepperoni, that we just keep them cooking - we don't wait for the orders before tossing them in the oven, since we know we'll sell them before they're out of the oven.)

I quit ordering takeout pizza from the large chains (pizza hut) when they told me they were out of large pepperoni pizza, but I could have 2 mediums.
Now I order from a little Italian restraint down the street from me.
