I'm trying to create an Internet meme

I want to create my own internet meme. Something that I can take credit for. I want it to be traced back to this thread, so in a couple of months when it goes on KnowYourMeme.com, they will say "started in I'm trying to create an Internet meme thread by janas19."

So far I haven't thought of anything yet.
 
Can't help you on your meme but I did coin a word this week that I'd like to spread to the winds - Climatotoxin.

Climatotoxin - A substance, which when released into the atmosphere, causes undesirable changes to the climate of a planet.

You read it here first.

Edit: If any ya'll in grad school, please work climatotoxin into your next abstract. Nothing could please me more than to find climatotoxin come up in a jstor hit.

Pretty sure it started in a game. The same way "Stop right there criminal scum!" and various other Oblivion/Skyrim memes did.

Sir, you fail at understanding the internet. Now just quietly go back to lurking and leave the creative stuff to the men.
 
step 1. find or make a picture that is somehow interesting or funny
step 2. come up with an associated catch phrase; it does not necessarily have to fit with the picture or even make any sense at all
step 3. go to 4chan and post the same image and catch phrase over and over and over again, in every thread you can, post new threads with it, and maybe make some variations on the image too (possibly combining the image with existing memes)
step 4. congratulations you now have a forced meme
