So how did you determine that you were sick and your boss is with Coronavirus to begin? Did both of you get tested?

If you're serious about being sick, curious, did it start with a sore throat, turn into fever, shortness of breath, slightly stuffed nose, and also lots of dry coughing? We all got this thing at the office here too.

I'm mostly recovered, just lot of dry coughing now. I almost do wonder if I should get tested just to be safe... I'd hate to be spreading this thing around if it actually somehow is coronavirus. But at same time they're probably busy with all of this they don't need people wanting a test every time they have a cold.

This+. Aside from the dry cough, this also sounds like the Flu... This is still cold and flu season...

When you recover you will have immunity. You can spin your blood in a centrifuge and sell the supernatant plasma for the coronavirus antibodies in the immunoglobulin

And @Mayne will get big trouble if caught selling his immunoglobulin illegally. On top of that, what assurance do his buyers have that he is selling the Real Deal to begin with?

And the problem is?
I am stating a fact,,that just because you have a flu or a virus does not mean that after you get well that you are immune.......
It is true of viruses but to categorically state that to be true is false....

While most patients who contract the coronavirus 2019-nCoV eventually make a full recovery, they don’t walk away from the encounter immunized against the disease, as one might expect after a viral infection.

Rather, Business Insider reports that you can theoretically catch the coronavirus multiple times, creating an unusual challenge for health officials trying to contain the outbreak.

The underlying idea behind a vaccination — or even “chicken pox parties” — is that exposure to a virus will trigger the immune system to generate antibodies that will shield that person from that virus in the future. But according to Chinese health officials, the antibodies created after a 2019-nCoV infection aren’t always strong enough to keep patients from getting sick again.

“For those patients who have been cured, there is a likelihood of a relapse,” Zhan Qingyuan, the director of pneumonia prevention and treatment at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital, said during a Friday press conference.

“The antibody will be generated,” he added. “However, in certain individuals, the antibody cannot last that long.”

Because some patients could get sick multiple times, it will prove even more difficult to track and contain the viral outbreak — which has already spread to and killed more people than did the entire SARS outbreak of the early 2000s.

It's probably just a nasty flu...still got dry hacking cough..but it is breaking up a bit now. I have to go to work in about an hour.

We'll see how that goes. Phoned my brother last night and he has a flu now too.
