I'm thinking of starting a 'small' business...I need a logo/name.

I was thinking of starting up a business, its a small town and only one computer shop here which is outrageous on pricing! Just going to do repairs/new builds and a little networking. I was thinking of going w/ DigitalDesigns (just b/c it looks cool) but it doesn't really fit w/ the nature of the business, lol.

Any suggestions on a name? I'm also needing a logo created for you photoshop handy people...nothing major. I had made a really nice one for 'DigitalDesigns' but have lost it over the years (been wanting to do this biz for awhile now).

I always find it amusing that people struggle with names before they even write a business case.

Like, have you considered such things as: how you will get customers, where you will operate, what the potential market size is (small town?), how much you will charge, what your costs will be.... and whether this is worth your time?

Because if those things dont check out, your "logo" doesn't matter.

Take a cue from Michael Dell and just use your last name.

yea, i've looked into it all (notice in my post how i explained there's only one crappy comp store in this town. I've gotten my pricing all written out as well as my business plan and everything. I'll just be operating out of an extra room in the house, advertise on craigs-list/flyers to start out with. Now...how about some help w/ the business name?? ^_^

if your business plan depends on craigslist, then you did not do enough research. Just a thought. I tried making my own tutoring business. I had the same plan as you and it just did not work🙁

its not going to be 'dependent' on CL...just an alternate way of getting out i guess. I don't have start-up money, just a 'small' business. I plan to do a lot of advertising, i can at least afford that much, maybe even a radio spot as well as in the local paper..those are fairly affordable.

how about "Cheap PC Repair" and your slogan could be, "You break it, but I can't fix it?

nice nice...

I was thinking Click!"it's all you need" Sounded good at first, but...I dunno, lol.

Digital Cancer sounds like a good name for a computer shop.
Or Digital Chemo? Might be in bad taste though, especially if you advertise with, "You won't lose your hair over our prices!"
Yeah, that might really be in bad taste.

Maybe try another meme. I Can Haz Compooter Fix? Alternator-Sized Savings! We went all Chuck Norris on high prices! Quality service recommended by 4chan!
