I'm sure there's a vid card manufacturer who ships them with something extremely similar on. either way i'd bet it wont do anything much extra for overclock.

Thats a bit overkill to be quit honest. A nicer end GPU cooler and memory sinks will serve you better.

can u recommend any in that price range? the zalman is a bit too expensive and a pain in the @$$ to install

Try the Iceberq4? Vantec makes nice stuff, it's got to be better than the Thermaltake "crystal orb" I also have.

I saw get that thing, and put a quiet (ie, normal fan at 5v ) case fan near it instead of that littlefan it'll come with. While overkill, I agree the price can't beat.
