Hi guys Im thinking off upgrading my compy shes getting a bit dated now
Amd Athlon 1100
asus a7v
Twinmos 256 pc133
seagate 80gb 7200rpm
geforce2 ti 64meg

Was thinking about upgrading to
Asus a7n8x delux
Amd xp2400
Crucial pc2700 256
Skyhawk Jupiter alu case
Im still going to keep the geforce2 ti for the moment until the Fx range come out and the seagate 80gb will be getting kept
Do u guys think this is a good setup?

If I were you I'd get an Antec case and save a bit, then get another 256 MB of RAM with the money you saved. Also I assume you're looking at the A7N8X? Otherwise, everything is nice 🙂
 
Hi again guys seeing as i have the a7v it has 4 ide channels, i know the a7n8x delux has serial raid can i use the raid
as normal ide ports? the reason i ask is the setup i have the now is that i have me hardive on the primary ata100 port
and my philips cdrw 1600a on my primary ata66 port and my liteon dvd rom on the secodary ata66 port, this is the config
i would like to keep where all my drive are on seperate ports can i still have this with the a7n8x or will i have to get the
a7v333 raid board ?
