Why can't nVidia make smaller cards?
I had a second system with crappy case, and the damned graphics card (GF4 Ti4400) was about 2mm away from the IDE cable of the HDD. Literally.
(New case now though)
 
wow, you make $40/day and you are blowing $400ish on a video card that will be obsolete in 9 months? I see financial hardship in your future.
 
Boy am I jealous. But with college in less than a month, I definitely can't afford the GT 🙁

well i guess i'm in the lucky position of my dad's employer paying for 1/2 my college education. and i've been working all summer, earned about $3500. and i'm moving out of the country for 6 months, so i won't have an opportunity to get a card. and i'm a spendthrift, what can i say 🙁

This is unfair. You know next to nothing about his financial situation and you must be assuming that he'll buy another one 9 months from now. It is likely that this card will last him a couple of years since he bought at the top. You're petty meanspiritedness is unbecoming.

Gotta agree. Richardycc, you are sadly mistaken if you think this card will be obsolete in 9 months.

My 2 year old 9700Pro is still no where near obsolete.
