I'm taking my GRE's tomorrow morning at 8am. Needless to say, I'm pretty darn nervous. Wish me luck!:frown:

good luck :) GO TO BED RIGHT NOW. TRUST ME. I'm checking in one minute to see if you're still logged on and then the nagging begins :p

brush your teeth and get in bed, ubless you are POSITIVE you will drop off like a log. You don't want to be tired during the test. You will do MUCH better with a good night's sleep than studying for the next week!

i think i tossed back a few beers before the night before the LSAT and i managed to do alright (well, except for that period of time when my brain completely left me). you'll do fine.

do they still make you take a passport picture?

I took the GRE many years ago, and they were requiring that for the first time. Well about 8:00 pm the night before I actually read the fine print and am like WH?OA. So I went to walmart adn bought a polaroid and pack of film. On a whim I took the camera with me. Well...About 50 other people didn't realize this little factoid, and I quickly sold my remain film at 5$ a pop. I paid for the camera and film!

The exam itself is relatively simple. The trick is to be well rested and stay calm so you can concentrate.

good luck... I took mine last Friday because I scheduled my appointment last Monday hoping to get an appt before they change the test on Oct 1st... don't worry, it's not too bad... as a typical engineer/computer scientist, I did way better on my analytical and quantitative than on my verbal :p One tip on the analytical though- make sure that you get the beginning questions correct. I was told that those are what count the most, and if you start running out of time, just start guessing. Again, good luck and don't worry... I winged it (well, I took a few practice tests, but that's it) and did pretty well.

good luck...extremely easy test...if you did well on your SAT's, you'll be fine here...i think the hardest part of the test was getting set up for it and filling out all your info and schools you want to send your info to...
plus, if you're going into a science and engineering field, the GRE is more of a formality than anything else
