Why do people bother replying to spamers threads?

Is it just to try to up your postcount or what?

Just let them die. It makes just as much of a point and keeps the mods from having to lock them. Guess that's just too easy.
 
i think that it's not about the fact that people reply to stupid threads, but that there are people who CREATE those stupid threads. like who the hell cares if it's a pretty day in canada anyway? congratulations, now go outside and play.
