What the heck is Webhancer?
How did I get it?
Why does Ad-aware find it and remove it everyday?
How can I get rid of it perminently?


Also, what is Onflow and double click and Flyswat?

Did you by chance download the freeware version of Winace? That's the only program I know of that bundles webhancer.

Ad-aware doesn't seem to get rid of it either.

If I'm not mistaken, Audiogalaxy Satellite comes with it as well.

this may be a stupid question, but are you selecting them all when it shows them? If you dont, it wont delete them

Yeah, I ran it, selected all the boxes...boom, its clean. Or, at least it was lastnight. Now there back, but I haven't installed any new software, so it must have a re install component.

Ah, I remember Onflow comes bundled with Kazaa and according to cexx.org it also comes bundled with Bearshare, so I'm assuming if you've downloaded Limewire, Bearshare or any program that uses gnutella with the exception of WinMX uses it.

Double click is installed with several filesharing programs, it doesn't do anything except place banners so it's not doing any harm.
