I got a Seagate Barracuda ES ST3320620NS 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM

I tried installing windows on it, but after I install and it's time for windows to load, it gives me a blue screen saying 0x0000007B (0xF789E63C, 0XC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

I updated the BIOS to the latest version, did a full format and I'm STILL having the same problems.

It works fine on my IDE drive that I already had Windows on.

Asus P5N-E SLI
Intel E6600
2GB Corsair DDR1066
PC Power & Cooling 610 watt PSU
EVGA Geforce 8800GTX videocard

I believe otherwise you need F6 SATA drivers.

I can't find the HD mode anywhere on the BIOS.

Also, the motherboard driver disk doesn't have a SATA driver, but it does have a RAID driver. Do you think the SATA driver is included in there?

If you are not using raid, no need for the driver. Turn raid off in the bios. If there is no sata driver on the mb disc, chances are you do not need it as Windows will recognize it.
