Im stuck in Doom 3

Im at the Communications Tansfer or what ever its called and im at the place where you go over the crack in the ground with the lava at the bottom and you climb that huge ladder. And then you go the that lift thing with the screen comes up and says that its locked you have to get the matenince PDA. Where is it. Im stuck there.

I know the way out. It's that little button on the front of your computer with a big O and an I in the middle. They stand for "Outrageous Invincibility." That's your secret to happiness. If you hold it down for ~4.5 seconds, your character will become invincible until you hit it again.
