Only bad effect I ever noticed was a couple of times when time seemed to sort of disconnect for me. Holding a conversation was difficult because I kept forgetting what I had just said, only to remember it a bit later. (It reminds me somewhat of the unique experience of having two simultaneous AIM conversations with somebody.)

You can't really compare yourself to Xionide. You are considered an extremely light smoker since you have only done it a couple of times and not on a consistant basis. I'm assuming Xionide is a weekly, if not daily smoker since he is talking about quitting. After smoking alot over time the high becomes very different than what it was like when you first start.

I had an experience that killed mj for me forever...

In 8th grade (keep in mind I'm 33... So it was a while ago) some friends and I ditched school to get high. Went to a friend's house and smoked out of his big brother's bong in the garage. I'm nice and buzzed and ask if anybody has some vodka to put in the bong so I can drink it after we smoke through it. No vodka, so I stupidly decide to drink the bong water.

OOPS!

It seems that big brother hadn't changed the water in like a month. Just kept topping it off. :Q

20 minutes after drinking fermented bong water with god-knows-what in it, I'm hallucinating hard core. I puke my guts out, and pass out in front of a liquor store. My hallucinations included flying in a spaceship, and meeting God!!!!
