Hey all. An all too brief respite from my summer of AOL Dial-Up as I visit an old friend at Dartmouth. Not too much of a respite though since Dartmouth's labs are Mac only (and the iMac I'm on has a picky keyboard too). In any case, just thought I'd check in and say that I'm not dead and that I'll be back in about three weeks when I start back up at Pitt. Hopefully your summers have been going as well as mine has been.

HotChic and Linuxboy, to lift a phrase from a song, "I've been one poor correspondant and I've been too too hard to find, but that doesn't mean you ain't been on my mind." I'll be dropping a line to you both when I get home to my ThinkPad and I have access to my address book in Outlook.

Oh yeah, and Mucman, hope you haven't had too much trouble being one of the only defenders of RUSH. Nice to see that we've found another RUSH fan in NeilPeart though.

Because I'm only visiting and the iMac lab is the only lab I know of and I think it's closest to my friend's off-campus house. He's staying at "The Rock" as the DOC is calling it.

Lived in Hanover for 5 years. Best place I ever, and I still consider it home.

Hanover is a great town. About 130% as expensive as Ohio or Pitt, but nice nonetheless. Camping at Pinkham (sp?) notch was even better though. Nothing like celebrating my car's 213,000th mile by driving up mountains on dirt roads.

These last few days have been absolutely wonderful. If it weren't for a certain person back home I don't think I'd want to leave. Catch you all later.

oh wow, hey that's a pretty chill place. but seriously tho, go into any library you'll be able to find public PCs. which iMac lab is this..? if you're visiting, then you won't be able to get into the one in the CS building..
