IM software and "switch users"

I'm currently running ICQ 2003b on my XP/Vista machine. However it doesn't handle "switch users" very well as it will stay logged in on the initial user and not allow the 2nd user to use ICQ as its still running in the user 1's desktop.

Are there any IM programs out there that will work (properly) with the "Switch User" function of XP/Vista? So that as desktops are switched the IM client will login/out accordingly?

You can try it with Pidgin. I believe you have to set something to let it run multiple instances, though.
