ATI and nVidia seem like they have completely different markets for their products.... ati seems to have quality as a goal, nvidia seems to have max speed as a goal. Like and Coke vs Pepsi, if you ask me (ok, ok nobody asked).

Yeah, I bet you noticed no image quality decrease. Of course, maybe slightly on AA/AF, but I wouldnt know, I prefer not to use it.

Still, even with AA/AF, games look great to me so I'm happy.

Don't know where all of this "ATI IQ>Nvidia IQ" is coming from. It's pretty much proven that they're pretty equal now.

Apparently. Probably not right away tho. Bank on at least 6 months from now.

I dont even think that there will be a r520. They might just skip that core and write there losses off. No one in their right mind would spend $1000 on an r520 when the r580 is going to be released right after it.
FUD.

Oh it's NOT funny solofly! People paid GOOD money for these "video cards" and to have settings labelled "Quality" that contain the dreaded shimmer, well, I can BARELY speak about the horror.

LOL, I reiterate, I didn't even notice this till someone pointed it out and I looked for it. I think everyone can go about buying video cards and not worry their eyes will melt.

I can't tell the difference between NV and ATI video quality... I am sorry. I like pixels though
