I'm so proud of her...

Well, school is just around the bend and I been busting my butt to make something suitable for class use. I came up with this.

She's a Pentel RSVP med point, double capped, white grips on each cap, black insert with her name on it. Weight is heavy, perfect balance, great working grips. I call her "Wannabe" because she's supposed to look like a Com-Ssa pen, and I'm so proud of her! 😱

Congratulations... it's just a shame you did all that work on something that wasn't a Stanford Uniball to begin with 🙂

Edit: Does she have a name? If not, you really should.

I dunno if you're being serious but I like RSVPs myself because they're heavy.

I wish LoKe was here to see this, he'd be so proud of me!

The caps distribute the weight too far out, the moment of inertia isn't centered enough. But either way, if you're good enough, you can do most of your tricks on any pen

Well, I do have a fond place in my heart for the Stanford Uniballs. But, hey, it's a personal preference thing. I just could never get used to what I thought was uneven ink/gel flow from te RSVP's.

I am impressed that you put that much work into her, though. I'm also amused that a pen post is my 400th one here. Wow, I really should get back to work here!

Anyway, enjoy. 🙂

Well, I'm not that good 😉

But having a good spinning pen makes it easier to do tricks anyway. Even if I could do tricks on some BIC or Papermate POS I probably would use a good pen anyway for the added comfort and decreased frequency of dropping.

Also I like the weight distributed a bit further out, it lets the pen spin a little longer.

I knew a kid in 8th grade that could do all kinds of crazy pen flipping and spinning and dancing and crap with a completely unmodified pen - or even an f'ing pencil. I never once saw him drop it.
