You need to chill out and learn to understand your parents more. Being first generation immigrants, and you being an American, I figured you may be able to handle your parents, but it's more of an issue of your inability to handle yourself. Take a second and listen to your dad. Let him know you respect his opinion, but you have a different one. He will understand. Based on your attitude here, I'm guessing your attitude with your parents is a lot worse. They worked hard, made sacrifices for you, and expect certain things out of you. The first thing you need to do is chill out.
