I'm So Excited

I stopped by the grocery store today, and I was looking at the hot sauces. This particular store carries Tropical Pepper Company sauces, which have become kind of rare around here for some reason. As I was reaching for my old standby of 4X habanero, I saw this sitting next to it...

I haven't tried it yet, but I can't wait. I forgot to get some damned crackers while I was there. Cheese, crackers, and hot sauce is one of my favorite meals, but I'm missing a third of it :^S I have some Kavli, but that's too delicate. I'm hoping I'll find a box of FinnCrisp, but I think I ate it all. I'll probably have to get a box tomorrow, but I know what I'm having for dinner. I bet it'll be awesome :^)

Dinner was delicious. FinnCrisp, Cabot seriously sharp cheddar, and the above sauce. It has a nice amount of heat that really lingers. Based purely on flavor, the 4x habanero edges out the ghost, but I like the heat of the ghost. I'm thinking a 50:50 blend might be the way to go, and I'll try it next time I buy the 4x. In any case, I highly recommend this, and it wins points for the skeleton toucan on the label :^D
