ITT is just that, a technical/vocational trade school. Technichian work is not the same as being an engineer.

no offense but why do we care? everyone has their problems , life isnt a stroll down candycane lane. I think you should get some experience, things always work out, but dont wallow in self pity and look for attention here on forums with people that you've never met

however if i ever do meet you ill buy you a couple rounds

Change schools. Go to a lower school, do better there and transfer back to a better school.

You didn't waste jack. You are not even 30 yet. You are young. You have opportunities around you.

So, what's your "unsalvageable" GPA? If you're like most of the people who whine about thier GPA on here, it's probably a horrible 3.6 or something.

I started off with a 0.9, got suspended from a community college. Now I go to Georgetown University.

My point is you have a chance. You aren't old.

I blame your g/f for screwing up your social life. She probably prevented you from hanging out "with the guys" and probably prevented you from going to parties. Then your friends started dropping off and formed a separate social circle without you. Once the g/f leaves, you've been abandoned. It's much easier for her to pick up where she left off because she can always hang out with guys (whom she calls her guy friends when in reality all they want is to get into her pants). We all know the drill ... :D

Maybe, maybe not. I studied engineering. Worked my ass off but still failed a couple of courses. Eventually realized that engineering wasn't for me. Switched to studying business and computers. Now I have a nice job in IT doing business programming.

In general what you've been doing is bad. Sometimes you need to get away from the books and take a break. It will be better for your mental and physical health in the long run.

Heh... I don't work at all and I get good grades. I guess it's all in the genes.
