They recently had a show about how cruise ships work. I found it quite entertaining.

Nahh, I don't watch the travel channel. I like Animal Planet and occasionally Discovery Health (I think that's the one) with Body Story.

Trama Center or whatever it's called now on TLC is pretty good. Don't get Discovery Health on my local cable.

I can't stand watching the Animal Planet. Seeing a dog in the ER just doesn't do anything to me ^_^

TV in general has gotten really boring though. I haven't watched a prime time show on ABC, NBC, CBS or Fox in years.

I like the Big Cat Diaries on Animal Planet. Croc Hunter just doesn't really interest me. Body Story comes on both Discovery Health and TLC if I'm not mistaken. That one really interests me because it's an in depth look at how the body works, what happens when bones break, how we fight off infections, etc. The best part is the way they depict it. They digitally animate the inner workings of our body, blood cells as they flow through veins and other types of cells that fight off infections.

<< was actually sitting here watching defrag.. pitiful,pitful..lol I will say it was sure quick though :D

So what pitiful thing do you do when bored ?
>>

The concept of the status bar is a curious thing. It could tell us anything as long as it had some sort of spinning or moving whatchamacallit to amuse us while the program did it's thing. I know I sometimes I catch myself staring at the wonderous status bar spinning and gleefully show me the "progress" of my download or my defrag or my scandisk... :D

baffled -

just curious, why are you bored? i dunno, i get bored, but it's not for lack of things to do... it's because i don't feel like doing any of them. i dunno, though, i've always thought that when i finally get out of school and get a job, i wouldn't be bored so much because i would be able to do anything i pleased.
