Actually there are just 20 rap songs, they just change the tempo to make it seem like there are more
If you only listen to the radio, this holds true. However, the radio makes up about 1% of all hip hop 😉

Anything from Gza's "Liquid Swords" album. One of the best solo rap albums ever... and most current Nelly fans probably have no idea who Gza is.

Public Enemy. First (and nearly the only) rap that ever made me stop and say "whoa." That and Busta Rhymes, but that may be overplayed already.
