there was a really good report on this in TIME i think it was the one before this new edition. there are a lot of things not being told here, but the senator definetly has something (a lot) of things to hide.

Good article, but I went to the source
Fox News
seeing that they did break the story.

Nice hair Ms. Smith

What I want to know is, if he didn't do anything, why not just come clean. His marriage is over, no point saving that. Just tell us he screwed her just like all democrats screw young interns with big hair and that he broke up with her. That way we can start looking for a body instead of chasing this soon to be ex-congressman around.

Another link to the story here. It is a very odd case as there was some speculation in the local papers here about suicide but people generally don't pack up all their stuff if they know they are going to commit suicide. If it turns out this congressman had nothing to do with this then he has been maligned but I suspect that he did at minimum have an affair with her. One story here also said that the way she met this congressman is that her and her girlfriend went door to door on Capital Hill looking to meet congressmen. Just the type of story to keep the papers from being bored during the summer.

Maybe he's afraid of being branded a killer?

Of course, with these recent acquisations, it's almost too late.

I'm neutral on the subject myself (the facts are not all in yet... we need a body, DNA, etc)... but it has been very, very interesting watching yet another Washington drama unfold...

My money is on something (like a body) being found by Thursday. THEN maybe some answers will be forthcoming.

Isla: a body found on thrusday, it amazes me that it hasnt been found yet. These people have connection and I am sure with all the power that is moved in washington that anyone could be made to disappear from the face of the earth. However, there are many details that just dont fit in.

dam(Mr. Condit where would you like your fork?)

There may never be a body found. It could be in the Potomac, the Anacostia, or even the Chesapeake Bay among other places. There are also lots of active construction projects in downtown DC including a new Convention Center. From what little the police have released they have very few clues as to exactly what happened. They even checked the security camera in her building but that date had already been recorded over due to the amount of time that had passed before they became involved.

I wonder if the missing intern owned a blue dress?

Perhaps that would offer some clues.

When that Airline Stewardess said she was 39 years old she lost all credibility with me. She's at least 49 if not older. It takes more than 39 years to get that haggard looking.

<< Just tell us he screwed her just like all democrats screw young interns with big hair >>

Better screwing her than buggering us like the Republicans do.

It was a description of the accuser.Had it been a blonde bimbo,I would have said so. And if her hair is that color naturally, thats not even like the beautiful green eyed red head beauty from Tulsa I know about.

Nope. This stewerdess isn't even in the same league as WW.:D

Have I redeemed myself, Den Mother? ;)

The color of her hair is often seen on 13 and 14 year old girls, not 50 years old Stewardesses.

Never the less, it seems Condit is just another typical politician (both RatpubliKlan and Demoncrat)I bet if the FBI were to investigate all the Reps and Senators there'd be a lot more of these Bimbo's popping up. They are all scum.

The potential for human depravity is easily observed almost anywhere one looks. Politics is nothing more than a convenient magnifying glass. . .
