On the same rig and connection?

Is it just me or is this usual? I really do notice the difference after two weeks using FF (and i will admit i love the extensions, adblock, forecast fox, flashgot are the main ones i am using :D ) then coming back to IE....

Isn't fortnight generally used in the future tense?

Maybe it's all the extensions bogging it down.

It is a wee bit faster... I still prefer firefox.

i'm torn between speed/snap and funky functions :p

It's a close call, but then if I go back to IE and get the occasional piece of spyware, it makes me happy I switched to FF :)

I'll have to check back in a fortnight :)

Edit: And actually, by the definition it is "a period of time that lasts 14 days" so you may have been technically correct anyhow :p

Big deal. OOOOoooOOOooOOoOOOOoOOoOOh I just saved 0.000000000000001 seconds by switching browsers, but lost 27509187091841 kickass extensions and other functional features by switching back to IE! Yay me!

:p

Leave the switching to Geico and stick with FF.

Do the firefox speed tweak thing.

Search the software forum for it, as it really does help.
