No, you need a buyer in order to sell - institution or otherwise. Companies usually don't purchase stock unless they have a repurchase plan in effect (and many giants like MSFT, INTC, etc. do because their stock price is diluted by massive optioning).
 
not to bad. I remember when the Nasdaq used to trade at 5,000+ . . now trading at 2,000. . i haven't really been watching the market anymore sine i lost my a$$ in it. .almost 20k. . 🙁DAMN AOL STOCK!!!

I don't know whats worse, having AOL stock or using the service.
