I'm really freaked out please help!

good news: i got my extra sticks of ram and the second 7800gtx today. bad news: my computer is screwed! After installing the components i go to turn on my computer and it wont. I fiddle with a few things and discover its a grounding issue so i reinstall the mobo carefully and it works. The first time i boot it up it freezes at the asus logo, posting or something, so i turn off the system. Then, whenever i tried to turn it on, my monitor appeared to be getting no signal from the pc, displaying the same thing a monitor does when a pc has been idle a long time, with the little orange light. I desperately tried everything, from removing the thing from the case and laying it on an anti-static bag to trying it with each single card without the other. Nothing!!! To be completely honest, i'm scared **** and don't know what to do . helllllp!!!

im pretty sure my work sells that one and if its the mb im thinking of theres a thing that kinds looks like a ram chip by/between the 2 pci express slots one mode for single card and if you flip it one mode for 2 cards make sure that is correct and consult the mother board manual for any other setting that have to be changed


what wattage and brand psu?
