Im really Bored!

im getting really bored of my pc, i just end up doing the same shit all the time, ive just rebooted my pc from XP pro to Vista 64 Premium just for somthing to do and now its all up and running im back to being bored again.

Should i just turn it off and forget about it or is there anything new i can have a play with.

Games i have played or am playing.

BF2 and BF2 Mod Project Reality - Bored of it.

The Orange Box ------------------ The HL series has gone down hill, HL1 was the best game ever made!

Crysis ------------------------------ Awful game both single player and Multi play

World In Conflict ------------------ Amazing game and i still play it now but im getting bored.

Frontlines Fuel of War------------- A good game but a little boring

NFS:MW---------------------------- It was good to start with but now im bored of it.

CMR Dirt -------------------------- Truly abismal

Assassins Creed ----------------- Superb game and have completed it.

ive just been watchin some promotional clips of Far Cry 2 and omg it looks as shit as Crysis, ffs!

Are there any new games due for release that could hold my intrest.

I've out grown many FPS and get bored with them quickly. Not unless they're good online games that I own at like COD4. Turn based strat games live CIV4 and Medieval 2 usually keep me going for more than a couple of months.

World In Conflict is great but if you are getting bored I dont know what to say.

Go back to some old classics like Deus Ex.
Actually, just check out STEAM. They have a buttload of old stuff for low prices.

Whenever you get bored with serious gaming I normally advise a quick session of Sam & Max.
Something like that may remind you why you got into video games in the first place: The fun.

Whats wrong with company of heros?? You really need the opposing fronts expansion for it to have fun imo.

COD4 is realistic gun play, but with a Arena atmosphere. Which means lots of it is run and gun and pushing the vs. teams spawn back into a corner.

i love Comapany of Heroes and i have Opposing forces but i think OF ruins the game and the original is much better.

I still play Civ IV every now and then the game is classic. Currently playing COD4 Multi and as always CS:Source for about 15 minutes a day when I have time.
I haven't touched Company of Heroes in months. I'm looking forward to GTAIV whenever they decide to release it for the PC. I'm also wishing for SW-TFU if they ever decide to port it to PC and I'm getting Race Driver - Grid when is comes out in June. That's all for now.

I'd consider CoD4 one of the top Multiplayer games out there. I love it! And the single player campaign is full of win!

The most fun I've ever had with PC gaming was with friends. So what do your friends play? Do you have any gamer friends? I've gotten the most enjoyment out of older RTS games. Even though I hate RTSs in general, I enjoy them as long as I'm with people and they can sort of help me out.

So get a LAN party together. The nice thing about older games like Warcraft 3 and Age Of Empires 2 (with the expansion, of course) is that they'll run on anyone's computer and they're cheap so you can buy a copy for everyone without spending too much.

EDIT: Also I would like to second the recommendation for COD4; amazing multiplayer game. So much fun.

You could find a bar that has college night on Wednesday, and go pick up a nice looking lady. That can be pretty fun. If you are married, or find that offensive or something, it has been pretty nice out in this area so hopefully it is nice where you live and you can go out and go swimming with your family, or the girl you picked up at the bar.

Have you played STALKER?

Difficult to get into at first but I thought it was a great game. Prequel (Clear Sky) is coming out in August.

Rainbow Six: Vegas was good. Console port and you have to install a mod for WS support, but the gameplay was excellent.

Mass Effect just came out and is a great action RPG.

im gonna opt for CoD4 as theres a realism setting or 1 shot kill, so not just mind numbing running round getting motion sickness. i cant stand Unreal or Quake they are soooo boring to me.

I am feeling the same way. If not for COD4 online play I would just stick with my 360 which I also play COD4 with. Ug, we really need some good games more frequently for the PC. Finished Witcher, bioshock, basically everything. Is it me or are PC games becoming real short on gameplay time? I know COD4 SP is very short but very sweet and its online is awesome, but Bioshock, Crysis even withcher and Shadow of Chernobly all seemed short IMO. I remember playing a Kingsquest game many moons ago that took longer and it came on diskettes.

It has nothing to do with any of the above mentioned games, but if you're bored of them all, maybe that's what you're looking for.
