I haven't seen Black Panther. I grew up with the comics but i can't be arsed to watch the movie. I hate hype and don't want to add to a hyped movie. I should feel terrible.

It was a very meh superhero movie. Not bad but not great, a solid B. When it came out though it seemed like no critics dared do anything other than sing its praises. 😀

I've kinda been bored with any and all super hero movies lately. They are just... too stale. And they just keep trying to pump them out left and right. I lost track of how many Spider-man ones there are.

Only half decent ones I can think of are Guardians of the Galaxy and Deadpool... and thats only because they stand-out a little from the other typical ones.

I liked Black Panther and thought it was one of the better superhero movies in the last couple of years, miles ahead of the DC stuff (Nolan's Batman movies were good though).

Not much choice. A lot of old HTML4 stuff is depreciated. Won't render correctly without IE4 or something. Gotta support modern privacy regulations like GDPR and such.

I was disappointed with it, but mostly because the reviews made it sound like it was one of, if not the very best movie in the Marvel universe to date. I liked it better than Dark World, but it's no Winter Soldier.

I wouldn't quite use Bond to describe it, but it was certainly a great movie all around in my opinion. How best to describe what makes it more unique than movies, Marvel or not, is escaping me right now but they really hit all the right points in my eyes.

I think the thing I liked about it the best was that the villain was a living breathing person with a wrong, but compelling reason for why he ended up the way he did and took the actions that he took. I prefer that to all CGI villains of god like power that don't necessarily "gel" well standing next to live action actors.
