Good for you man!! I quit a couple of years ago, but it took me a few tries. My only words of wisdom are that you have to REALLY, REALLY, want to quit and for yourself, not anyone else. I hope you do it on your first try, but if you do have a relapse don't give up. You'll make it and you'll feel great.

Girlfriend is still smoking, and I still haven't fallen into temptation!
Some good advise is to steer clear of pubs/clubs and don't drink too much for the first few weeks....cos when ya drinking, ya always need a smoke!!!!! Try to stay clear of smokers for a while too, makes it easier if ya don't think about it!

Gonna start buying them buy the carton instead of the pack, eh? That will save you a couple bucks per week, but quitting will save you even more.
Wear the patch AND smoke, that's a real blast. j/k

yea... no more breaking a sweat when i play counterstrike
and the chicks probably don't dig the smokers much :-/Out of a group of 6 friends who did just that, i'm the only one that quit. So the odds are against you, but good luck anyway!
ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... it was either the jack cokes' or the lack of smokes... but i'm feeling like crap :-/
