how much you pay for all that?

I got it as a christmas gift... But they aren't cheap. Retail is about $250 with a $40/month plan. Needless to say I didn't get much else for christmas 🙂

if you aren't paying the bill, then good job. otherwise, see my above post.

Which T-Mobile phone you have? I have a S105 and I can pay $3 more per phone only to use the simple internet thing like AIM and Mapquest. I havent tried surfing web nor if I know it can.

Yeah, part of the gift was that I don't have to pay the bill for a year... But even so, I think it is worth it. I am in constant contact with whoever I need to be... I can check stuff online... Email, etc.. It's sweet.

SOS, im not sure how your phone is layed out, but mine has a keyboard which makes the web/chat really easy. Depending on how your phone is, I would say the extra $3 is worth it for what you get.

I also forgot to mention that the wireless web is unlimited and included in the monthly charge.

One word:

GEEK!

😀

But, that's a sweet phone. Is that the one that runs Windows CE? A friend of mine has one and I'd love to get one.

Have you tried it with AIM yet? How does that work? Can you be online all the time and just get messeges when people im you, or does the phone have to be activly browsing? AIM is my contact with a lot of people and it'd be nice to have that away from the PC. Considering I pay $30 for my plan now, a $10 bump up almost seems worth it. Too bad T-mobile has crappy coverage around here 🙁

Oh well, maybe when my current contract is out they'll have a tower in my area

I'm here... sorry. I'll try to answer a few questions.

AIM is by far the best part of the service. The phone is actively connected to the digital network, and requires no extra time/minutes to use. It's all included in the monthly charge. This allows you to get/send email, chat, and browse the web whenever you want. If you look in the pictures, it has a little keyboard under the screen, and typing messages doesnt take much time at all.

I would really recommend this phone for anybody who stays in contact primarily through IM. It also allows you to cut back on minutes, so you dont have to use it as a phone-phone as often.
