Walked my daily 6.2km but found out walking in the snow activates different mucles (my thighs hurt). Where the sidewalks were scraped, it's still slippery with ~1-2cm of sticky snow but I did 1km through the park in 15-20cm of snow and that was killer. Ducks are still in the river though. :)

Yep, you encounter "micro-slipping" when you walk or run in the snow, similar to walking or running in sand. It definitely works your quads and calves harder - at least it's a good workout!

I'm looking to get some microspikes to put over my shoes so I don't slip as much in the snow.

My left arm triceps are sore as hell, did push-ups, first time in 15 years, and used a 10 lbs dumb-bell.
