I just got a confirmation email from the RD of the Virgil Crest 100, I will be pacing at the race this year. I'm very excited for several reasons:
1. I get to see a 100 mile race up close and personal
2. I get to help a runner complete (hopefully) a tough race
3. I get to meet other ultra distance trail runners in my area
So now I have this to look forward to this year, very very cool. Anyone here ever pace in a race like this before? Any tips for me? I want to make sure I do a good job for whomever gets stuck with me.
