someone told me i the 20 pin psu should go fine on the 24 pin motherboard.

Im really set with that wish list, and im pretty sure you cant beat that for the price and for what i use my pc for.......I just need your confirmation that everything goes together fine....

One thing I would suggest is to drop down to a 3000+ and get 1GB of dual channel. I think it will help performance alot over the extra 200MHz. And, the 20 pin PSU should be fine (i'm using one) if its a reputable brand, not the generic variety.

I see what your saying , but i prefer a faster processor cause i always end up buying more ram, but the processor usually is the one that stays.....i wouldnt be suprised if i bought more ram next month.....but thanks man

I'd recommend a different CD/DVD drive. The one you listed appears to lack the ability to burn DVD's. For a bit more, you could have that ability.

*Definitely* drop that CDRW in favor of a NEC 3520A DVDRW. The OEM version without software was last available at $54 shipped.

If you *have* to buy a floppy drive, buy one of these instead.

You'll lose the benefit of dual channel memory by buying a single stick of RAM. If you're not willing to buy more than 512 MB of RAM, buy this dual channel kit instead. If you will consider 1GB of RAM (recommended) then a 1 GB kit is available from the same manufacturer.

I can't say I like that keyboard - a keyboard and mouse are the 2 devices you are constantly touching and ar the real interfaces to your computer, along with a monitor. Dont skimp on these parts. My recommendation is for the Logitech MX duo.

THe MSI board he's using has onboard graphics.

2Xtreme21 i dont have a videocard, but im buying a 200 dollar one in the fall when age of empires 3 comes out.....

I should be fine with the onboard video, i heard it plays most games fine, some u mght have to put the detail on low but it will run them , im not much of a gamer anyway...

Like i said b4 just wanted to make sure all the parts go together, that was my main concern

If you do end up only buying one stick of 512, when/if you get more make sure you get the exact same memory to put in dual channel (whole point of the s939).

The board you picked doesn't support overclocking at present, although it might in the future via a bios update. I would go with the Kingston since you aren't going to be able to overclock anyway. Save some money or bump up the ram to 1 GB.

Antecs are the best "cheap" quality cases... They have good temps but the quality isn't as great as Cooler Master and Lian Li.

As for the RAM go with the TMSP because I heard it's better than the regular TM because of the SPEED PREMIUM & It's most likely UTT & Brainpower PCB as Melchior said.. I'm also getting the same ram..

I cant wait ! lol going from a intel celeron 1.3 ghz to amd athlon 64 3200+ should be a big difference, i just hope all the parts work and i put it together right lol....im not turning it on till im 100% sure everything is connected right and b4 i touch anything i'll make sure im grounded lol
