Oh, and 80s night at bars were always packed in college, due to the enormous amount of chicks that love 80s music.

I hate a lot of it, but so far this morning the 80's station has bee playing some of the stuff I like. My chick, my roommate, and one of my good friends LOVE 80's music. I just have to get used to it I guess. :p

Now in the streets there is violence
an-na-na lots of work to be done.
No place to hang all our washing and then I can't blame it all on the sun.

:music:
Sprawling on the fringes of the city
In geometric order
An insulated border
In between the bright lights
And the far unlit unknown

Growing up it all seems so one-sided
Opinions all provided
The future pre-decided
Detached and subdivided
In the mass production zone

Nowhere is the dreamer
Or the misfit so alone

Subdivisions ---
In the high school halls
In the shopping malls
Conform or be cast out
Subdivisions ---
In the basement bars
In the backs of cars
Be cool or be cast out
Any escape might help to smooth
The unattractive truth
But the suburbs have no charms to soothe
The restless dreams of youth

Drawn like moths we drift into the city
The timeless old attraction
Cruising for the action
Lit up like a firefly
Just to feel the living night

Some will sell their dreams for small desires
Or lose the race to rats
Get caught in ticking traps
And start to dream of somewhere
To relax their restless flight

Somewhere out of a memory
Of lighted streets on quiet nights...
:music:

ah, good old Prince. The sure fire way into a woman's pants.

One of these days you should just make a list of all of the 80's panty removers for the rest of us that were still in elementary school in the 80's. :p

Sweet. One of my friends who is really into 80's music is doing his own thing at the moment. The stuff I've heard sounds 80'sish. Not sure if he's playing out at the moment though...
