I'm only happy when it rains.

maybe it's because I grew up in the pacific northwest (portland, oregon; lived there till I was 9-10ish), but I've always loved the rain.

it's been raining all day and I've been loving it. spent the whole afternoon with the windows open, listening to music, drinking some beers, and doing some spring cleaning.

I love the rain

I'm from LA, so yeah ... don't get it a lot

Of course, I can only enjoy the rain when I'm not stressed ... and right now I am ...

SAT II Biology next Saturday and AP Biology on May 9 ...

I'd better go study some more ...

I enjoy a good thunderstorm. Window opening weather. Can't beat that fresh air smell.

I love that song.

I concur

:music: I?m only happy when it rains
I?m only happy when it?s complicated
And though I know you can?t appreciate it
I?m only happy when it rains

You know I love it when the news is bad
And why it feels so good to feel so sad
I?m only happy when it rains

Pour your misery down, pour your misery down on me
Pour your misery down, pour your misery down on me

I?m only happy when it rains
I feel good when things are going wrong
I only listen to the sad, sad songs
I?m only happy when it rains

I only smile in the dark
My only comfort is the night gone black
I didn?t accidentally tell you that
I?m only happy when it rains

You?ll get the message by the time I?m through
When I complain about me and you
I?m only happy when it rains

Pour your misery down, pour your misery down
Pour your misery down on me pour your misery down
Pour your misery down pour your misery down
Pour your misery down on me pour your misery down
Pour your misery down pour your misery down
Pour your misery down on me pour your misery down
Pour your misery down

You can keep me company
As long as you don?t care

I?m only happy when it rains
You wanna hear about my new obsession?
I?m riding high upon a deep depression
I?m only happy when it rains
Pour some misery down on me

I?m only happy when it rains
Pour some misery down on me
I?m only happy when it rains
Pour some misery down on me
I?m only happy when it rains
Pour some misery down on me
I?m only happy when it rains
Pour some misery down on me ... :music:

I been through the desert on a horse with no name,
It felt good to be out of the rain,
In the desert, you can't remember your name,
Cause there ain't no one to give you no pain

lalalalala...:music:

I'm jammin' it right now! :music:😀

Seriously though, I do like it sometimes. If it fits my melancholy mood. I'll put on dark clothes and lay around and wallow in my misery. Yeah, that can actually feel good sometimes...

Would you like to pop on a flight to Melbourne, and do my spring cleaning for me? I could give you

if you pay for the plane fare 😉

I've been itching to clean my apartment for awhile. with my roommate's hours, there's never a good time to run the vacume and blast my stereo. he's away for the weekend visiting his folks, though, finally giving me a chance to do so.

I like rain here because it cleans out the air, but after a while it gets old (especially when you're at 130% of normal rainfall for the water year) and I want it to start approaching 100 degrees already. With the weather lately, it certainly doesn't feel like May is around the corner to me... it feels like it should be in the 80s, but it'll only be 74 tomorrow.
