I've been looking to buy some shoes for a few weeks, and I just can't seem to find a pair that I want. Here's a few points that I seem to like in a nice pair of shoes:

White. It doesn't need to be totally white, but a shoe that is basically (majority) white (besides the sole) is good. I like that.
Tough. I want a shoe that is fairly durable. I'm not going to be doing anything entirely athletic in these, I have other shoes for athletics. However, if I wanna go out and screw around on my skateboard, I want to be able to without screwing up the shoes indefinitely. This is not saying I want a skate shoe, however that seems to fit the criteria. Secondly, if it can't handle skating very well, that doesnt matter a TON, it's more of a convenience.
Inexpensive. I'm looking to find the shoe for under US$60.00.
Comfortable. I'd like a shoe thats comfortable, and that I'm going to like to wear.
Stylish. I care about what I look like, although not a lot. Shoes, however, I seem to care about. So nothing white/pink with little gold sequins. ;)

I think that's about it as far as criteria goes. Like I said, for some reason I just havent been able to find the right pair. The Vans Rowley XLT seemed to fit the bill, but I've never tried a pair on. I can get 'em cheap online, so I may just try 'em and return 'em if they suck.

What shoes would you recommend?

I had a pair of generic white Nikes that lasted for 3 years. They're still intact, but I bought new shoes to replace them about a year ago. I'm kind of stuck though, because I can't find shoes in my size other than Nikes.

My shoes were $58, but I had to drive 400 miles to get them. :)
