Because ripping a baby out of your va-jay-jay was so traumatic?

I get a female taking maternity leave after giving birth...but the man? Nope...get your ass to work.

Oh...and congrats on another kid. Need me to tell you what causes that?

It's the end of the combined leave just before she starts kindergarten. She's 10 months old now. So including holidays we had a combined leave of a little more than a year.

Congratulations dude! (on the time off of course :p)

Paternity leave is a great idea, give the chance for the man to prove himself to be committed to as equal a partnership as child-raising can be... or to prove him to be the dead-beat he is :)
I had the same with our first child and 2nd and 3rd was during the lock down where I mostly worked from home, so it made more sense for my wife to take maternity leave as I was already at home. But new laws have been made and 11 weeks are for the partner only, so now I'm back :)

Look up the song "Stay At Home Dad" by jon lajoie.

I don't want to post the link because the dude made some other videos that are pretty controversial.
