I'm old

I just got my 10 year college reunion invite. Sure its not for a couple more months but very soon I'll be able to say "I attended college over a decade ago." :\

don't worry, at least you're not me. 28, still no career, sucking on nanny's big fat tit

My high school reunion is next year and I already feel old 🙁 I'm not really sure if I even really want to see anyone from high school again.

Those are the best!

With my HS, all the hot popular chicks got fat and the nerdy quiet chicks turned hot. A couple of the nerdy ones really, really, really got hot.

never heard of college reunions. we just had our 15 year highschool anniversary last year. can't believe it has been 15 years since i was in highschool. i have some memories that i can recall from highschool that feel like they were yesterday.

So instead of having a shot with 20% you're saying you're now not going to score with anyone? :awe:

Skipped my 20th HS reunion a few years ago. No desire to see people that I haven't spoken to in 20+ years.

From what I hear the 10th and 20th are big dick waving contests to see who was the most successful anyway.

My school had ~550 graduating students in my class and I think I talk to two on a yearly basis. The people I want to talk to I already talk to. It doesn't help that many in my class were rich pretentious assholes.

did not attend high school, college, or law school 10 year reunions. 20 year high school is right around the corner. FML.

Yeah my 20 year HS is next year. I had a class of 48 people. It's gone two different ways. Half of us never looked back. The other half basically have a reunion every Friday night at the corner bar in town.

Facebook has ruined the point of any kind of reunion. I know who has succeeded, and who has burned out. That, and the only folks I'd want to see, I still see fairly regularly.

You went to college?

I thought you lived in Detroit?

Detroit METRO AREA :colbert:

I went to the 10 year and it was really interesting. Lots of people going in directions you never expected - not to mention its odd seeing people being responsible adults given their antics in HS. Oh and I learned that 'other intentions' had obscured how dumb this girl I had a crush on was

Next year will be my 30th since graduation.

About time we put you in a home

Haha, so true.

I have brothers who still live in our hometown. When I go home and visit we will go out to the bar/resturant and it's filled with people from HS. I don't know who they are, but they figure out its me because I'm with my brothers.
It's been so long I don't even know wtf they are though. It always ends poorly, as they get pissy I don't recognize them. I'm like, I've lived in 10 different cities in 5 different states and met countless people over the last 20 years, you expect me to remember you? Eh, no.

Pros and cons:
Old = wise/smarter/mature

And based on what you said, you definitely are smarter/mature.

We had our 25 year HS reunion scheduled about 2 years ago. Graduating class of 190 and the reunion was cancelled due to a lack of interest. That was actually the first one I was planning on attending.

I think college reunions are just one more excuse for those poor destitute institutions to try and get some more donation money from you.
