Jesus that's a ripoff! Of course, I live in southern LA, so I get the best deals. It's like $1.25/lb for live and $3.25/lb for boiled.

Damn, crawfish are a pain in the arse to dissect, but are equally tasty.
I ate:
20+ crawfish
20+ shrimp
2 catfish filets, no breading
1 hamburger, no bun
2 brats, no bun, tons of brat mustard with horseradish
That was delicious. My lips were burning for about an hour after I stopped eating. The corn and potatoes that were cooking with the crawfish were unbelievably spicy. One thing is definite, though ... I am fully satisfied!

Wurd. But I am, and we're starting our crawfish boil and fish fry outside in a few minutes.
I love living in Louisiana.

The most important question that anyone on the gulf coast can answer:
Do you live north or south of I-10? 😉

One does not disect crawfish! You peel them, then you pinch the tail and suck the head.
