A "slocket" is a device that converts a socketed PPGA or FC-PGA CPU into a slot 1 CPU. This allows older BX based Slot 1 boards to use the newer Celerons & Pentium 3 CPUs that are only available in FC-PGA, or are more readily available in FC-PGA.

It is an adapter that let you connect a Socket 370 processor into a Slot 1 motherboard.
