depending on the school, a 4 won't get you anything.

at university of michigan, if you got a 4 on your calc bc exam, you had to get the next math level and pass before you would get credit for calc 1 and calc 2

dont' sweat it. There's always placement exams later on anyways which do close to the same thing and you probably don't wanna be the freshman kid taking linear algebra or calc 2 anyways.

Reading this thread reminds me how long it's been since I've done some calculus problems. I'm sure I'll pick it up again quickly, but I've forgotten more than I thought I would have.

I just really didn't want to take it again next year because it'd be so boring and repetitive. I already know it all really solidly. Plus it'd be nice to get my $82 back.

I'm taking one last practice exam tonight and then I'm done. Exam is at 8 am tomorrow morning. Wish me luck!

I'm also in AP Physics but I decided not to take that test. We covered way too much without enough practice on each chapter as we went and I really don't know it at all. We've been taking some sample tests in class and I've been getting like 20 right out of 70. Even the highest in my class was a 30. And of course I have physics in my freshman year of school for electrical engineering so I'll hopefully just learn it very solidly from scratch then.

I took the BC exam back in 2001, and I'm sure glad I did.
Skipped me completely out of the calculus requirement in college which means I didnt have to subject myself to the horror of UCI calculus taught by a foreign professor. "The darivative of the glaph".

UCI upper div math was bad enough, but thank goodness I'm all done with it! =)

Same here.

I think it's better to take calculus in university so you don't get your ass handed in the upper level math class later on.

Well, it was definitely a helluva lot harder than the 2004 exam, probably because that exam was so fvcking easy, but we'll see.

Hmm, good for you. I won't let myself feel bad, I just have to remember that for every person saying it was easy and they got a 5, there's probably 10 people or more that got 4s, 3s, and below and think it's tough. It's best to compare it to other people in your class, because they were all taught the same way you were. And we all thought it was kind of tough.

I want to discuss but I won't, you never know if there's someone from the College Board lurking around here.
