Check out these screenshots

I've run AdAware and HijackThis. I've resinstalled browsers and installed different ones.

This happens in FireFox, IE, and Opera although a little different in each,

Look at the right two columns of Anandtech and there's some text missing, look at the other sites and it's a lot worse.

I'm down to copying stuff into notepad if I need to read it. Never saw anything like this.

Weird. Maybe a font issue? Installed any new fonts, or Unicode foreign font packs lately? Try making another user account and see if it still happens in that one, possibly.

Your system passes stress tests fine I assume (memtest, prime95, etc?) if you're overclocking? Could be memory at fault, or possibly a rootkit. That whole AT page is a disaster in your IE screenshot. Try safe mode+networking and see if it still happens. You haven't installed any ad blockers or proxies lately right? Or security suites like ZoneAlarm or Norton Internet Security which both modify pages? If applicable, try disabling all of these firewall apps and see if it persists.

So the text is actually there (just transparent in the browser), you can select it and paste it?

And, you've tried rebooting, right (who knows)? Clearing your cache?

If you get really desparate and it still happens, you can try a Linux LiveCD (before reinstalling Windows), which is just a simple bootable OS that does not install. Then you can see if it happens in Linux. If it does, it's something out of your control (kind of) likely. It would be at the NIC level or farther than that. But do check your router as well, as some routers (probably most nowadays) implement web page filtering. Do you experience any problems downloading big files, or get lots of lag when playing games?

Are you using Norton internet security, or something similar? I believe the ad filter in Norton can cause white text on certain sites.
