I'm looking to buy a real nice world map.

My GF's bday is coming up (april 14) and she has mentioned that she would like a nice world map that she can stick pins into the places she has been.

I'm not sure where to look to get one though. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Go to a map store wherever you live, and once you find one, get it drymounted for her, it'll last way longer ... I have one on my wall for the exact purpose you were asking for.

Go to your local Rand McNally store. IF you're in Orange County, CA there is one at the South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. Their executive world map is incredible.
