Sounds like a simple idea.... but here's the situation.

I have a spare pc that has XP on it. I want to run a monitoring program, install a program (like firefox for example) and then the monitoring program see all the changes to the pc, files, dirs, registry, shortcuts etc. Copy it all into one installer that I can run on another computer and it just creates all that info.

Kind of like a repacking of an installer but geared more towards an unattended install.

What I'd be using this for is putting say x number of these unattended program installers in a bat file, run the bat file in the dir with the unattended program installers and just have all of them run, setup and be ready to use.

The closest I've found is Ghost Installer, but it's really expensive and is more for creating a new installer for a program you made, you have to tell it all the reg keys, dirs, files, shortcuts etc. I need something to monitor whats being done to the system/files/registry and then pack it into an exe so I can duplicate the install on another machine.

Almost like a backup/restore idea, but for application installation. I know there is one out there, I saw someone use it once. But for the life of me I cannot remember. I'm pretty sure it was Ghost something, thats how I found the Ghost Installer, but that's not it.

Anyone?
