I have never built my own pc, but I'm planning on doing it within the next few weeks. I would like to know what websites are the best for ordering in terms of realibility, warrenties, price, and such. I've been browsing pricewatch, but I'm not sure how trustworthy alot of those sites would be since I don't find many or any of them listed on pricegrabber.com
Thanks

Most people here (that live in the US) buy from newegg.com, mwave.com, directron.com (specialty cases), svc.com (cooling). People that don't mind rebates also use the bargains in the Hot Deals forum.

www.resellerratings.com should convince you that your intuition is right, and the lowest pricewatch price is usually from an unsafe company.

he is correct in everything he says. i have had nothing but great experiences with newegg. if a peace of hardware doesn't work properly, you can return it no questions asked.

another vote for newegg and googlegear. very reliable and their RMA policies are no hassle, better than most other online vendor policies.

Googlegear.com, newegg.com and svc.com is all you need to buy parts. If you want water cooling stuffs, look at dangerden's site.

This is just a WAG on my part, but I'm guessing they didn't have to fight very hard for that domain. That said, I prefer them to Newegg since the prices are about the same and I always receive my orders a day ahead of Newegg. Axion, Directron, and Mwave are also great in my book, although Axion does not always have the best prices.
