I'm looking for a good set of speakers for my stereo... (Polk Audio RTi8?)

Right now I am using an old pair of 30W pioneer loud speakers and they rattle.

I went to future shop today just to listen to a few sets of speakers and I really liked the Polk Audio RTi8. (Here)

They were $999 CDN for the pair, but I fould them for $314 USD (each) from crutchfield.

I'd be interested in buying these mostly for stereo, but also possibly also as the front speakers in a 5 channel setup as well.

Thoughts? Is there anything better in the $700 USD range?

I personally am not that anal about sound that I have to spend $350/ per speaker. I think the $100-$150 sets sound just as good if you have everything setup right with the right deck/amp, and I listen to my music pretty loud. But hey its your money, you can waste it how you want 😛
