What the hell kind of strip clubs did you go to? Wouldn't a more accurate description be LOOK at the food? ;)

Hmm....I thought some strip clubs you had to be 21 to get into...at least the ones I have been to you have to buy a certain number of drinks....oh wait...those are gentlemen's clubs.

The mere fact that you excited to turn 18 only for buying your own cigarettes and going to a strip club leads me to believe that you'll soon end up working in one. I weep for the future of this world. What ever happened to having real goals?

I am not your mommy but to start smoking in an age where there is perfect awareness of the dangers of smoking is crazy.

Oh yeah... and why do you even need to go to a strip club, just stand in front of a mirror and _____, either that or a webcam.

I have nothing really to contribute to this thread, but I'm one of the thousand or so nerds who click on this thread in the past day, so I'm just checking in.

So bitter...

Let the girl have her fun while she is young.

When she grows up she won't be allowed to have the same kind of fun.

I beg to differ, I'm having more fun now than I did at 18. I still have goals, though...and achieved most of them already.

Actually, i'm having more fun now than i was 18 too. :D

I have fulfilled most of my goals, now i have three kids to care for alone, i do find the time to have fun though.

But it would have been easier when i was 18.

Reread your post though Melly, you sound awfully bitter.

I just hope you are not, have a

Hey, i have a crazy idea, how about you just don't smoke, screw the wellbutrin, just don't smoke, it is a proven method.

Of course, idiots of today want a remedy that will make them stop smoking when it isn't harder than not to smoke, a remedy of overweight when it isn't harder than eating less and so on

Just don't smoke, if that method doesn't work i don't know which method does.

Don't quit smoking "sure smoking takes years off your life but it's the years at the end. It's the adult diapers and kidney dialasis years."-Dennis Leary

You dont really want to go through them anyway, do you?

Wellbutrin may be almost as dangerous as smoking, which is why it was recalled a few years ago. They came back with a smaller dosage, but now they're selling the XT version.(mistake of "more is better") Have fun worrying about seizures and feeling like a zombie on crack. There's this great thing called "WillPower RX" which might do the trick with less side effects. If that doesn't work smoke a pipe or cigars, at least they have a somewhat pleasent smell as opposed to the burning, crap-filled fur smell of cigs.

Welcome to the nether time: old enough to buy cigarettes and porn, not old enough to gamble in vegas or buy booze. Its kinda like the twilight zone, but less interesting. Thank goodness I'm turning 21 soon!

So you are a TKD champ?

I have some training in an unofficial MA, i basically just hit the gym five days a week and walk a lot these days though.

TDK is my hobby. :)

Good allround training, i would join up but between work, kids, gym and sleep i have little time. :(

What you could do is find someone to teach you and your kids, together. I saw families coming together all the time -then again, they usually switched schools over to the local family school instead of mine. I went to a school that focused on getting students to black belt and beyond, not just a family-fun center. Friday nights were full contact night. Wednesday was no-contact point sparring night. Screw Wednesday nights, I was there every Friday night. :D There's nothing like being in the ring 300+ times per year. It's a great workout, and it's fun to see some of the stuff that my 5th dan teacher would do when we could convince him to show off :D

Actually, since my kids are living with me this is a great idea, might make me more at ease with letting my teenage daughter out of the house too.

I am going to look into this, thank you for the advice Nik. :)

I used to teach, but I don't have anyone left in the area to teach. Move to Oregon. BTW, pics of your daughter? ;)

Your yellow belt and you teach?!? Or was that a yellow belt I was in that pic....

white
yellow
yellow w/green stripe
green
green w/blue stripe
blue
blue w/red stripe
red
red w/brown stripe
Poomse (or poom for short) which is half red, half black
1st dan
2nd dan
etc

Officially, I stopped at green, but I could beat any two 2nd dan in the ring at the same time, so Sabumnim gave me a teaching position. I was learning advanced curriculum. When I finally quit to persue school full time (no work == no money for TKD), I was going through red belt curriculum.

Plus I was teaching some friends on my own time, in my front yard, because they didn't have the money to join.

looooooooooool, teaching your friends in the front yard? I bet it looked retarded :D
