I'm leaving in an hour, need some help

Hey guys, I just recieved my Zen Vision M and I'm trying to get it to work.

First, is it supposed to come with a power cable? mine only came with a USB cable...
Can't even turn it on since there's no power left in the battery..

Second, what's the best way to put music/videos on it? mediasource is very confusing and I need to do this quickly.

Ok so it cahrges through USB apparantly, but now Windows can't find the drivers and that new hardware window keeps on popping up. I installed what the cd came with.

Suggestions?

I believe it should've come with the connector thingie, then a power charger and a USB cord thing.

What I use to transfer my music (I don't have a Vision:M but I have a Sleek, which operates on basically the same software) is the transfer app that came with the player that ISN'T mediasource - I believe it's called the Creative Media Explorer. Works great for me.

Also I believe WMP allows transfer, because it's PlaysForSure, but I never use it.

Creative should have the quick start guide on their website if you've lost yours.

My old Zen nomad had a charger but my iPod only charges through the USB.

Mine came with a power cable, I remember because I had a tough time stuffing it back into the box when I took the POS back to the store.

Hopefully you have better luck with yours.

I used WMP11 to put videos on mine IIRC.

What should I do?

You should be able to call Creative up and complain; they'll send you a new one if it specifies that it comes with a power charger.

Well at first I thought the USB won't charge the Zen but I called them and it does. I thought they didn't include a way to chrage it, that's why I was pissed.
